I think that
twerking is one of the stupidest things, up there with cheese wiz and shake
weights. (Shake weights are extremely stupid; you know they are, have you ever
seen anyone use one?) The person that invented twerking clearly was doing some
serious drugs when they did, as no sane person would ever come up with this
idea, ever. Like come on, all you do is shake your ass up and down, which is
all it is. No wait, if you’re feeling risky, you could do it on a wall, but try
not to do it on a door, like some girl did, who fell on her glass coffee table, which had candles
on it, and proceeded to light her pants on fire. I wouldn’t even call this a
dance, more like a repeated action. We have so many great different styles on
dance, hip hop, ballet, folk, and now we have twerking? Seriously, where did
our society go wrong in our evolution of dance? Twerking is generally enjoyed
by females, as guys find it sexually attractive, but girls find it weird when
guys do it, (when I say do it, I mean attempt.) Come on ladies, guys enjoy shaking
their ass too time to time.

I'm a little confused about your message in this post because it seems like you are contradicting yourself. At one point you say that people shouldn't twerk but then you continue by saying that when women do that it's OK and men should be allowed to twerk. Also, that video of the girl twerking on the door and ends up on fire was a stunt by a comedian for advertising, which it obviously did. Personally, I say testing is kinda pointless but it is considered a dance move to me, not that I'd use it.

You are trying to rant about twerking but then say that men can twerk as well which is directed towards the ladies in this post, and how they can enjoy it too but you yourself say society has gone wrong. Apparently not.. both genders seem to enjoy it....
ReplyDeleteIt is not a dance move I would show in public, but hey we live in a crazy generation, and it's just this crazy little move, in my opinion.
I completely agree with you, Kat. This generation is much different from others, so obviously there is going to me new inventions; new music, screamo?? and new dance moves. As society is changing our values are changing as well.
DeleteYeah, I agree with Jacqueline and Katarina, the ending is confusing and contradictory. But I agree with the beginning. I think twerking is just disgusting and it seriously makes me worry about what our generation has whittled down to. I mean Miley's performance at the VMAs is horrible and repulsive. And I really don't know what else to say about it..
